Dan Boatright-Greene: Working to win West Worcestershire
Local councillor. Former teacher. Campaigner for West Worcestershire.
Dan Boatright-Greene is the Liberal Democrat Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for West Worcestershire.
In 2024, Dan came second and helped cut the Conservative majority to just 6,500. Now we are building the campaign to go one step further and win.
How can you help Dan win West Worcestershire:
Meet Dan
Dan Boatright-Greene is a local councillor, former teacher and campaigner standing to be the next Liberal Democrat MP for West Worcestershire.
Dan lives just outside Pershore and represents the area as a District and County Councillor. He leads the Liberal Democrat group at Worcestershire County Council and has taken on responsibility for Education, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and Skills.
Before entering politics, Dan worked as a teacher, including in communities facing some of the highest levels of deprivation in the country. That experience shaped his belief that every child should get a fair start, every family should be able to access the support they need, and every community should have a strong local voice.
At the 2024 General Election, Dan came second in West Worcestershire and helped cut a huge Conservative majority to just 6,500. Now he and the local Liberal Democrat team are building the campaign to win next time.
West Worcestershire deserves an MP who listens, works hard all year round, and puts our towns and villages first. In 2024, we showed that West Worcestershire can change. Now we need to build the team, raise the money and speak to residents in every part of the constituency. From NHS dentistry and GP access, to SEND support, schools, transport, farming, flooding and our rivers, I’ll keep fighting for the issues that matter to local people.

Why West Worcestershire can be won
West Worcestershire is one of the Liberal Democrats’ key opportunities.
In 2024, Dan came second and cut the sitting MP’s majority from around 24,500 to just 6,500. That result showed that people across Pershore, Malvern, Upton, Tenbury, the villages and rural communities are ready for a change.
But winning next time will not happen by accident. It will take early organisation, regular campaigning, a bigger volunteer team, and the funds to reach voters across a large rural constituency.
That is why we are launching the Winning West Worcestershire Fund and building the campaign now.
Where does Dan stand?
Clean rivers, countryside and stronger villages
Dan and the local Lib Dem team are standing up for our rivers, countryside, farming communities, flood prevention and rural services.
A fair deal for children, families and SEND
As a former teacher and council education lead, Dan is fighting for better SEND support, fair school funding and more opportunities for young people.
Better health and care, closer to home
Dan is campaigning for better NHS dentistry, easier GP access, stronger community services and proper support for unpaid carers
Dan's School Funding Petition
Schools across Worcestershire get millions of pounds less than schools across the country. Sign our petition so we can show the Government we want fairer funding for all!
