Concerned councillors call for Worcestershire to welcome Afghan refugees

CALLS for Worcestershire to welcome Afghan refugees fleeing the country after the return of the Taliban have been tabled by the county's Labour and Liberal Democrats.
Labour's Coun Richard Udall and Coun Lynn Denham have come together with Coun Dan Boatright and Coun Mel Allcott from the Liberal Democrats to make the call at a meeting of the county council tomorrow (Thursday).
